Colombia | La Estrella Gesha

  • Sold Out

We are thrilled to introduce Colombia La Estrella as Notion's first ever Gesha offering! We have been looking forward to this one for a long time and we can't wait for you to get to try this truly special coffee!

Gesha is a rare and expensive varietal that is extremely difficult to cultivate. It has become wildly popular over the last decade and become somewhat of a buzzword. We have found that while most Geshas tend to be delicious and are expensive and difficult for farmers to cultivate, they don't always seem worth the cost when it comes to the consumer. But those coffees are out there and trust us when we say that we have found one. This is a coffee you will want to try.

Gesha is known for its sweet and floral profile, which is how we would definitely describe this coffee. Producers Jairo and Cesar Lopez process their Gesha as a natural but with a unique fermenting process called carbonic maceration which typically creates bright and winey coffees with strong notes of red fruits. Expect an intense sweetness with a juicy body and vibrant acidity. We think this coffee tastes like tropical starbursts candy, hibiscus and fruit punch.

All orders of the Gesha are roasted to order and packaged in these beautiful 6oz jars.

WE HAVE A VERY LIMITED AMOUNT OF THIS COFFEE AVAILABLE SO GET IT WHILE YOU CAN!
